well I'm not a subreddit mod but I can usually piss people off pretty reliably by either saying I am a mod/admin or even implying that I could be.
charles never did give me a proper IP ban function after that incident.

I'm not sure what can even be done for it anymore, the RP has lost much of the spontaneity that got all of us invested in it even before we tried to reboot it, and you simply can't recreate that to reinvigorate the RP.
But it has been active for quite a while now so I really don't know why people just suddenly stopped posting.
the main thread was active for quite a while too and look at it now
MFW somebody tells me I'm a piece of shit because I don't watch artists if I don't like the type of content they draw.

>notice one of last month's purchases has vanished and been refunded mysteriously
*color drains from face* oh god.
"SOMETHIN IS GOING ON WITH MY BANK ACCOUNT BRB GOTTA GO SPEND MONEY"
godamnit me you fucking impulsive idiot.
I'm up to like, 3 different nominations for best rant/boast of 2015 on the mass effect co-op subreddit.
I am inappropriately proud of this fact.
when you're trying to be an active member of the community and start discussions and nobody is having any of your shit.

No, no, you're fine! Really!
...I just don't have anything to add/see.
I was at work. And then went to sleep. And laid there for four hours awake. Still haven't slept. Been awake for nearing 48 hours now. x.x
That I find somewhat hilarious. Surge. "3 different nominations for best rant/boast of 2015 on the mass effect co-op subreddit."
I undoubtedly dislike something that you like, and you undoubtedly dislike something that I like. Does that mean we're both idiots? Not that anyone can ever prove it on my end. I've covered myself pretty well. Not because we dislike what others like at least. I frickin' hate minecraft, Terrarria, Edge of Space etc. Yet I adore starbound for some reason. Just as an easy example for some people. I somewhat despise the Mass Effect series for skipping psychological aspects just to make their story work when it wouldn't in the world they've built.
A civilization of really petty people that hate each other enough for constant unheeded war to be a thing. And yet war does not happen, the council is not constantly getting assassinated for not sharing the absolute views of their people. Even when all points state that citadel station should be chaos. Their excuse being the fricking Asari? I'm sorry. But every single race is rapidly developing to a point where they will surpass the Asari soon with biotics. So no. It's an excuse, not a legitimate reason.
Hey look a wild rant has appeared.
I can't really say I ever involved myself in mass effect on a worldbuilding level so I never really uncovered a lot of those kind of social and political issues that they glossed over.

I've had someone try to ostracize me for holding Mass Effect in low regards. Had to tear their entire world a new few holes to get them to back down. They hate me forever now. But hey. Didn't want someone so petty around anyways. To hate me for showing them how broken something they liked was. No sirree will I put up with that. I couldn't care less that they liked it. They just wouldn't leave me alone and kept insulting me because I didn't.
How's things today/tonight/whenever anyone and everyone?

I generally can overlook a few holes and flaws if the rest can capture my imagination but I respect having a different mentality.
I'm at a birthday party currently.
You don't sound very excited.

I'm just meeting a lot of the people involved so my fairly subdued enthusiasm doesn't translate well to text.
Aye. Hard to tell if it was that or sarcasm. Hope the birthday's going without mishap. Would it be prying to ask whose birthday?

Stepfather's grandaughter. It's going well, we have cake and are making jokes, pretty low-key affair.
Eh. Whatever keeps everyone happy is the best option... Usually.
Glad it's going well. I'm currently working on the tabletop I've been building past number of years.
Suddenly, Surge has a new profile picture.
Either that or I've never seen it.

I wish I'd kept track of how long it took somebody to notice.
Err wha? It's still in alpha format and currently undergoing sweeping changes. But. It's sci-fi. Not trying to do anything super new or original. Instead taking from well established systems to create a hybrid game that allows a greater number of outcomes in most situations while being fair. Swapping from D100s to a versus rolling system. As of right now there is only one finished lore section and it still needs finalization and a couple rewrites to make it more fluidly written. (As I haven't rewritten since I wrote it two years ago) Though it's information is not outdated.
I'd noticed on screen refresh. Actually. Just didn't have much to say at the time. Currently though. It has an alice in wonderland The Rabbit feel to it. I like it.

Well I do like Worldbuilding so I was just wondering what direction you were taking it.
Currently it's open to anything a GM or player can come up with. Whether they want a boring merc campaign or something more special and hand picked.
Currently running an alpha campaign with friends so they can help me test all the systems. So far the fighter with only a 14% chance of success on perception rolls has ran 7/10 successes. And the medic with a 74% has succeeded twice with two crit fails out of 10. it's quite hilarious. First session someone rolled three crit fails in a row. Running face-first into a tree and then falling down a hole in the ground.
In other news I also got new dice in real life and so far I've run a 30 crit 40 success 29 miss 1 crit fail out of 100 rolls. Don't cross the GM. He doesn't even need to cheat. Hee hee hee.
Yes. World building is wonderful.
