Okay after playing fallout 4 for.about 4 hours now and I gotta say I really like the weapon crafting and base building portion though I'm not used to the real time looting system and I dislike the removal of karma system.
Also being the same engine as skyrim it should be capable to be run on lower end PCs. Oh and there's a special variant of the deathclaw that.....can turn invisible.......yeah......(loading screen info loke skyrim)

Skyrim could have run on much lower end machines if Bethesda put their backs into optimizing their code. They don't really give a shit about coding though so have fun with their patchwork workarounds to the actually important parts of their engine.
anyone have a good fallout 4 optumization mods out there? it's getting laggy and hard to aim
I think my internet is stabilizing now...
i won a game for free.
it's not a game i knew about, but i own it now.
>Fallout 4 Keybinding apparently doesn't work right and a lot of functions are hardcoded.
SERIOUSLY?! BETHESDA, ALL OF YOUR OTHER GAMES DID THIS RIGHT. HOW CAN YOU SCREW IT UP NOW?!
Also the looting menu looks ugly, the real-time was a bad decision in my opinion, and the constant character commentary makes me sick to my stomach. Actually kind of glad I haven't bought this game yet - at least not until modders make it into something playable.
Kind of sad how a company used to making this type of game can somehow screw up everything they did right before. But that's Bethesda for you. "It just works"... except it doesn't.

Don't forget mouse acceleration and FOV can only be altered through a .ini

And really, you think after 3+ games where people made mods to tweak the FOV, they would have gotten the damn point already.

The Hype Train is now derailing. Please put your head between your knees and cry.

No the hype train is merely changing directions. Please brace for gymnastics while we adjust for this new heading.

Fallout 3 - Buggy mess, fun game though.
Fallout NV - Great game, not made by Bethesda; made by Obsidian and better than anything Beth did with 3 in only a year of development time.
Skyrim - Pretty buggy at launch, improvment over Fallout 3 though.
Fallout 4 - Seriously WTF Bethesda what are you doing stahp.
Essentially: Fire Bethesda and hire Obsidian. Despite not even using their own engine for the game they worked on, and only having a limited dev time, they somehow made everything far better, if still not perfect. Imagine if they had a proper dev-schedule and freedom from Beth's buggy code.

Obsidian is already spoken for with their recent F2P title.
