*blink, blink*
SHHHHHHH Ehks, it's just a dream.
...a dream that anyone would willingly buy a mac and then proceed to use it despite not needing any of the mac-exclusive professional programs (which are literally the only reason to get a mac)?
no that's a nightmare that's sadly true.

Did not want Mac, have Mac anyway
okay good you didn't get it willingly.
being stuck with it is COMPLETELY different. maybe try setting up a dual boot system
so you can
y'know
actually use it.
Can anyone recommend something nice and calming to listen to or play?

This is probably a very stupid question, but why were you on holiday with a toddler? (And why did the toddler stop you from listening to the radio?)
Family vacation, I couldn't listen to the radio with her around because at any hour where things were winding down enough for me to be able to actually enjoy the radio everything had to be quiet so she could sleep. I tried watching a movie once while she was asleep, turning it up high enough for any dialogue to be audible apparently woke her up and I was told not to do that anymore.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEE I AM DANGEROUSLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS! HOLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING.
Wait, back up a moment...is there some sort of BattleTech reboot going on right now or something? I mean holy shit Marauder and Warhammer and all, but an actual Reboot and a push to sell it? I must inform the FLGS ASAP
now someone get me off the pathetic planet
Roguephoneix64 please get on steam, you have a pending gift.

Update 1.3.0.7 has been exactly that: a Beta testing version adding support for both Linux and Mac (theoretically). Be mindful that it is still kind of a testing version, so they basically said "Don't come crying to us if your everything is wiped".

Or in other words: lrn 2 backup
All this mechwarrior to the tune of Pacific Rim is making me think an Atlas modified to look like Gypsy Danger would be kinda cool.
So WH40k has a mobile turn based tactics game with the space wolves. The mechanics of this game allow you to have a tac marine dual wielding full size bolters. With bayonets.

Never mind It's a space wolf. Space wolves are hardcore, they're like space Vikings who decided they weren't badass enough and decided to make themselves like, 1/100th wolf just for the hell of it. Also they sometimes ride dire wolves the size of a sedan into battle, while in full armor.
If I recall correctly anyways. It's been awhile.
