I love bots like yours because they're so structurally flimsy. You could be immobilized in seconds and lose half your firepower at the same time.
That hull is solid cube isn't it. It shows a complete lack of understanding of the game's damage handling- a rather counterintuitive system I think.
One plasma volley aimed at the single gun behind the front axle, and the resulting damage spread-out would break it in half.
Solid masses are actually really really bad- they're easy targets, and any damage they take is spread until one shot rips huge chunks out of it. It took me quite a while to realize that.
I feel like I've shot you repeatedly already if that's a T7/T8 and you've been on a losing streak. You wouldn't even notice me operating at very nearly my chopper's altitude ceiling, and suddenly you'd get hosed with a 6 shot salvo of plasma right on that weak spot.

How do you get that?
in the desert, in those big antlion places, mine the super tough stuff and put it in an extractor. you'll need quite a bit, but it does give a few cool things.
Huh.
Welp, guess I'm not getting it anytime soon < w >

I don't deal with many plasma bombers, and when I do I hose them down with impunity.
That said my tank is pretty solid to most forms of damage, the center connection is short and thick enough that I've never had anyone cut me in half. It was a major design flaw in the older version, on top of an otherwise open glass canopy, but I've since corrected it.
I end most matches leading my team in level and score, and that's all the credentials I need to know I've got a solid fighting vehicle.

Whoops, I quoted one post too many. My reply was talking about SCN-3's tank. Haven't seen screencaps of yours yet Surge.
I also tend to be top 5 scores, with many matches being top 3 kill count because I can just dump plasma on people from high atltitudes. A lot of craft are vulnerable when attacked from above or beneath.
Actual plasma bombers are a sore spot for me as well. While the electropates and triforcing can tank off most SMG based, and rails will always result in chunks being ripped out, the problem I have with proper flyer and bomber types is that they move too fast for me to return fire effectively.
But as a plasma copter, I do a lot of damage in a hurry when I can get above my target.

I already posted a pic of my current iteration of the brigand, you can scroll up and find it pretty easy, it stands out with the yellow plating.

Embarrassingly, it's not solid, mostly hallow with the pilot block surrounded by the lattest available armor due to lack of CPU and credits for the armored blocks, although defensively a mess, I play aggressive and sometimes sneaky using path players least likely to use or hide behind a corner just to pop out in the corner tearing poor bots who's unprepared.
Earlier models had helium block that somehow helped me to climb up verticle walls aswell.
I admit sometimes when I'm leading the team I get frustrated with the medics for not giving me priority.

really? i'm at the point where i'm getting ready for the WoF.
i read up on what the bosses give in expert mode.
all i'll say is
suck it non-expert mode players.
I've only seen a handful of competent medics in all my matches.
Most medicbots try to just run in and deal damage, they don't pay attention to nearby teammates nor do they offer healing even when your craft is visibly missing chunks and circling around them waiting for help.
Also I looked back on the previous page and I don't see the pics of Surge's bot. Only SCN-3's pics and mine came through for some reason.

Nope, I'm playing Normal. I haven't even beaten the game on Normal yet, and I don't think I'm ready for a bigger challenge, either.
Also, I envy the fact that you get six slots.
you must do a goblin army in hardmode the new enemy drops this amazing item called the shadow flame knife, it's like a magic dagger with out the mp cost, still has the damage though, great for any character willing to pick it up.

you can also hold it down..... i hope this thing never stops being useful
So far, the Arch virtual machine is going well. I haven't done anything to cripple the system or the bootloader yet, which probably means I'm due for a learning experience.

Nope nope nope nope NOPE nu-uh nope never no no no nope fuck that shit nooooope.
I have had DiRT3 for years and somehow amidst all the petrol and screaming 2.0L engines it never ever dawned on me that I get inherently less traction in snow.

oh just you wait till it goes below 500 or so HP and it goes completely berserk. it does the super-rush literally all the time, and if you missed it, it goes a massive defense buff when it does the super-charge.
i killed two of those at the same time with minimal prep.
awww yeah! i now have a sicknasty tiger skin hanging on my wall!
one dead king slime later and now ALL THE SLIMES are my new BFFs.

I did see the berserk mode.
How the hell are you supposed to hit it if he's moving so goddamn fast?
Also, killed expert EoC.
Shield of Cthulhu is pretty coo.
