Plus, he'd have to redownload all of the games as well, and any mod work is gone as well...really, it is a pretty big loss, even if every bit of game progress was saved. No images were, no mods, no pictures, text documents, none of that. It's all gone.
Starbound has a save editor called StarCheat available, compatible with almost every mod, able to edit almost every attribute of a character, and it's really easy to use.
That doesn't bring back the planets you lost, or the buildings you made, or any of that. Sure, you can get the items back, but you can't get the universe back.

Marxon made mods?
Yeah, he was working on a Reassembly mod.

If you care about your stuff, you back it up. That's what the hundreds of cloud storage options are for. Not to say that its Marx' fault, but anything can fail at anytime.

I suggest upgrading to Windows 8 or 7.

I mean I do feel rather hated by freejam as an SMG tank. Every nerf or buff lately seems to be aimed at improving the game only for railers and fliers.

I know how that feels. And BTW, it's called Edge Explorer or something now. If you dont like the Windows 10/8 start menu, get Classic Menu . Lets you revert to older styles of Start, along with other things.

windows 10 is new, it's said to be better than 8, and internet explorer isn't internet explorer, it's Microsoft edge, i know this because i upgraded from 8 to 10.

I've had Win10 for the past month. I like it more than Windows 7. There aren't really any downsides compared to the other two at all.

NO EXCUSES!
On a different note, anybody have a WiiU and Sm4sh want to play a few rounds?
God, there's nothing to do. We need events. I dont know what, but despite how fun it is talking to you all, that does get boring. We need some variety.

I've tried to organize game nights in the far past, didn't work out very well due to scheduling issues I was having and nobody being willing to stand-in. I might be able to stay with it for a few weeks now though.

Don't give me that bullshit, the backup caused the froze that required a force shutdown, that crippled the disc.
Also my reassembly mod is dead, can't retrieve the files.

I guess I could help with that, but I dont know how I could, aside from setting up polls and spreading the word and stuff.

I remember it being a fucking chore, the first step is a list of games that support 6 or more people in one multiplayer group that we all own a copy of.
