*failing arms like a madman*
NEXT VECTOR THRUST UPDDATE, 2ND SEPTEMBER, MiG-31(and 25 perhaps?) FREAKING FOXHOUND!!!
Wait, Vector Thrust still gets updates? I haven't seen one in forever.
lets say Vector Thrust is almost a one man team, so yeah updates are very slow and barely noticeable, the most recent update before the 2nd september one is missile behavior changes, makes them more accurate and harder to dodge without caff and flares

You mean the missiles that miss straight-flying, unflinching UAVs and Bombers?

I see they outsourced missile navigation to Eugen Systems.

I would at least expect the missiles to turn around and do another pass or something. I mean, they have independent 360 degrees of target tracking, how the fuck do they not realize that the target is now over
there?

yeah, the effect is less noticeable on older missiles(on older planes) take AiM-9X(F-22A) and AIM-9P(F-4D) for example, both act different with the newer perform better
The missile change direction at the last minute increasing the chances to hit, course fising a missile from the side rather the back or front is more likely to miss

I've seen worse. Some guy in wargame once killed his own mobile HQ when a Patriot missile lost it's target and started doing the missile equivalent of flopping around like a fish out of water.
Another guy did far worse damage to himself with an anti ship missile.
I can't count the number of times I personally have seen ATGMs fuck off into space for no reason or intentionally guide themselves around the target instead of into it.

standard MSSL dont do that, even the AIM-9X only have 180 infrared view range, QAAMs on vector thrust also act different from Ace Combat's(no 360 view range)

I need newer planes, but I'm not amazing at the challenges and I'm at the point where I can only get reasonable amount of points through a glitch/exploit I only seem to recreate on accident.

you can just edit the .ini file and just delete
Code:
[UnlockSystem]
Start_Locked=true
then the plane is unlocked for free~
(until TimeSymmetry decide to update that plane then that section of the ini is back)

I want to play fair, but the system is so unbalanced. It takes far too many points to unlock anything past the first few aircraft so most of the time you just end up grinding/hoping to god you can finish the challenge.
Seriously. Challenges this far down the line still give 50-100 points, while the aircraft cost anywhere from 3000 to 5000.
I love seeing what I can get out of different deck combinations in wargame.
for example, the Chinese Marines have a really healthy number of tanks, for a marine deck anyways, they get 3 cards of amphibious cavalry tanks and access to China's (non amphibious) advanced recon tanks.

then
git gud on challenges then(until a few end planes that dont have the challenges yet, purchase them with points), besides, not all challenges are too hard(except a few Su-37 and one of the MiG-29's) and some are fun(tunnel run on N-156F and Have Blue 1001)
Just asking, do Marxist societies have copyright?
Well that spoiled my day...those GED tests kicked my ass.

Edit: let me replace this with something less stupid. Marxism, as I understand it, is a system without personal property, the community shares everything for the good of everyone, as such a restriction on who can produce what and how is not gonna fly.
Brb manly tears of joy incoming.
I've got a future again.
So, my headset just broke some more... This is getting rather annoying.
