I'm considering living a life consisting of "eat work sleep" from now on as I seem to fail at everything else, just numb my mind and take it one day at a time. Another friend that just left me today told me my internet life is the source of all my problems, so I'm going to just work with my incredibly dull offline life from now on.

The fact that you have enough friends for a new one to leave you every day is indicative of at least a moderately successful social life. Or a tendency to omit important info and/or neglect positive outcomes such as resolutions to recent problems.

I keep making new ones, but not fast enough.

Yes fast enough, you haven't run out yet.
Horray! I have begun tossing around ideas in the RP Revival thread again! This time it's those psionics everyone wanted me to include!

You do realize that most people on the Nexus think your a pretty nice guy, right Marx? I like to think we're friends, if that counts for anything.

If I'm to rid myself from this blight I must denounce my life on the Internet and focus on what's real, even if it's a bare bones existence.
I'm still sitting here waiting for the supposed Vector Thrust update, I swear after I get to bed the update happens!

Life and existence are two different things, Marx. Denouncing things that you enjoy will only make you more miserable. Frankly, I think you would be missed, but if you want to keep moping about how you need to ''exist'', ''focus on what's real'', and all that shit, then I wont stop you. Just remember, life is to be enjoyed, not tolerated. If you only focus on the negative aspects of things, you wont get anywheres.

Well, consult OmniGeoff, he's the one giving me the advice saying:
"you have to disassociate yourself from your internet friends and... Essentially your entire internet life. Then start over in the real world."

That's fucking bullshit. How long have you been an Internetizen? Like, how long have you used the Internet?

???
There is this Pokemon aime (the thing where you rub or feed your pokemon for affection in Pokemon X, Y, AS, and OR) like feature in Fire Emblem Fates where you can rub your spouses for affection on the touch screen and there will be kissing cutscenes... Therefore it kind of resembles a waifu simulator to a small degree. Not like I really have a big problem with that, but I just find it a weird concept for Fire Emblem is all. I mean if you have never heard of waifu simulator games then I am surprised because they are a lot of weird discussion topics that go on here go look up some on google.
So, if anyone doesn't know about the term waifu is then I put a link describing what it means.
Origin of Waifu
We're not all that hopeless that we need a girlfriend simulator. I don't think any of us are.

Then by ''completely forsaking your internet life'' you would lose all of that time, and on top of that, you would need to forget about everything on the Internet, and also remove any and all Internet-related personality traits. Besides, why are you taking philosophical advice from a web artist? Not that I have anything against them, but aren't artists supposed to be best at art, not philosphy?

I don't think anyone needs a girlfriend/boyfriend simulator really. I was just amused that a game like Fire Emblem has some elements of one. I thought if anyone wasn't familiar with the term then I would try to explain it.
Everyone should use Overwolf. It's like a gamer's multitool. It has everything... two built in IRC's, minigames, Twitch integration, for both streamer and viewer, custom HUD support, calculators, YouTube, and I dont know what else. All I know is that it's all free.

It also has and causes stability and performance issues.

I dont get any issues from it. Just disable the FPS counter and it runs very smoothly.

I don't run anything through it most times and for a few months it caused crashes every 20 minutes or so. I don't trust it much but I like the teamspeak function too much to not use it.
