well I'm still doing it and so far got about best 5perfect IVs, one thing good about this method is that you have control over egg moves and IVs

Yes, I'm familiar with the masuda method. However, just to put things in perspective - your odds of encountering or breeding a Shiny are approximately 1/8192. The Masuda methord drops this to only 1/1638. In other words as Ehks said - 20 boxes later, no shiny. It's really not worth breeding Shinies unless you have the Shiny Charm, even then that only increases the odds to 1/512, and it's a Key Item (so no transfer to Gen VII). Also, to get the Shiny Charm? You must complete the National Pokédex. That includes all the Legendaries, some of which you can't catch in Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire (so yes, if you want to catch ALL of the Gen IV legendaries, you're also going to need a copy of Diamond or Pearl to catch the other Pokémon your version doesn't come with). The only mercy there is that Event Pokémon like Keldeo, Diancie and (possibly) Mew are not counted.

atleast I'm still filling it, by global trade, also most legendaries are catachable in ORAS(mirage islands) except evet pokemons which is not required for the shiny charm.

well I got a few shinies(someof them i think are hacked) from trade and wonder trade and yes i did something evil and global trade them anyway to get the legendary that my version dont have just to trigger the thrid of the legendary trio in spawn, and I named my Giratina Mr. Muffins!

TBH, I didn't bring it up because I wasn't 100% sure it worked that way. From what I read (and have done), the unlocking order (using Gen IV as an example) is the Lake Trio (Uxie, Mesprit and FUCKING AZELF), then you can catch Palkia (if OR) or Dialga (if AS). However if you then wanted Giratina, you then need the one you didn't catch. So if I used your method, this would give me TWO Giratina's.
Actually now it's all coming back to me, pretty sure Kyurem got locked behind a similar wall too.

yay two garintinas, you could get 2 even if you only had diamond or pearl as long as you had the corresponding version of OR or AS, because after you beat the elite four you could catch garatina, platinum just let's you get him before the elite four but you have to wait till after the elite four to get dialga and palkia.

don't worry it's better if you don't because in reality pokemon is a game where you force Pokemon to fight each other for entertainment and money, which is illegal with real animals and is considered an act of animal abuse and cruelty.
