Does anyone even play Starbound anymore? I kind of have to do so for modding purposes and Starbound vanilla is boring imo. Anyways I recently got back into Terraria, but after playing it with some friends and doing all the new stuff I got bored of it again. So, then I tried the latest Minecraft snapshot and it was interesting, but of course buggy. I haven't played Minecraft seriously for years. I used to play with friends on their server until they grew tired of the game.

Most of us grew tired of Starbound, at least for now.

So my SO informed me of a game called edge of space, a 2 year old turd that bears a striking resemblance to starbound with larger and higher resolution sprites, anyways it's still in early access. 2 years later.

I know the devs of EoS want to ape Starbound, but they didn't have to ape the horrendously long EA duration too.

unfortunately i bought edge of space, and yes you can build right now it's not that early, however i wouldn't buy it, even if it has some terraria stuff in it, it's not worth it right now.
EDIT: if you want a good early access game try dig or die.
