Marx, you're not the honest man either, considering you've been opposing every change I try to make to the avali because apparently you're too attached to their aesthetic. You also tried to take over Psychokinetics because you couldn't wait without whining, despite everyone else being patient, and downright turned down Coro's opinions as if your word was canon because of your opinions.

I may have no entitlement, but then neither do you.

I'm just going to point out that he didn't try to take over psychokinesis. He proposed his own idea for what it could be and you came in and gave your idea. When he said he thought his idea made more sense, you proceeded to insult his worldbuilding skills. When exactly did he oppose coro's ideas asides from pointing out that his "I don't care what you think this is how this is" attitude was kind of uncalled for? Please point me to the post(s) you're talking about.

I honestly doubt everyone even knows it is a thing. Why? because it hasn't even been started yet! (It is not your fault Silver) Most people log on to see this thread for some insane reason and then log out. Most of the new people get scared away from this thread. I know a few people who just didn't want to deal with the Avali community because of this thread. This thread is toxic to the community. I mean all I see here is arguments, frustration, stress, depression, hate, etc.

It's for general discussion. As in pretty much any topic goes. As in this is what this thread is for: talking about things that don't have their own thread. All you see is the bad. There's lots of funny stuff and good discussions that happen here too. You know what's toxic to this community? The community. As it is with every community.
You know what else is toxic? You constantly complaining about this thread, thereby starting or feeding arguments.

then they should look at the other threads, thats why this is a fourm, and this is a revival of the rp it's been around for a long time.
it's not always that, sometimes is nice discussions.
and i understand this place has drama, but i know removing the main thread or taking a break for a few weeks is not how to fix it, there is no problem with the thread, but with what people decide to post, this thread isn't making marxon talk about his depression, it's his depression itself that is speaking.
don't fault this thread for what isn't it's own fault.



anyways, i'm glad i bought a game i haven't even seen much of, the sense of discovery is amazing.

Fine. Since I can't even handle my own arguments, you might as well find someone else to handle this fucking galaxy. I didn't need to burden myself with trying to make a universe anyways. 

TL;DR: since my entitlement isn't going well, go entitle someone else.

My post didn't even have to do with the RP. I was pointing out that you were taking Marx's actions wrong and blowing them out of proportion. Now you're overreacting to what I said. Take some time to cool down and then come back. You're still the primary source of ideas for the setting, you just need to be more open to ideas and not single out people for disproportionate retribution.

you're not helping at all by saying "we should lock this thread and let people make their own topics" because that kind of free reign will just kill the forum activity. there's a reason i decided to stick everything to one thread, and it's not tradition. and i know for a fact that there's more nondrama than drama overall. The human mind remembers negative events far more readily than positive ones (Evolutionary adaptation; if something bad happens and you remember, then you have a higher chance of not doing that thing again. That's why negative emotions form stronger memories, even if you had no part in whatever negative thing happened.)

Locking the thread and saying "okay guys do whateveR" would be a surefire way to kill the forum and segregate it even more. That's not something that should logically be done.

This is the fault of those people, who really should stop throwing it in here since it isn't really helping them and I can assure you many other people do not like it either.

I will remind him in case he forgets.) especially when complaining about it only prolongs it being in the topic. especially when complaining about it brings more arguments.

My advice for anyone who wants to perpetuate an argument here:
-Take a deep breath
-Delete your post
-Turn off the computer
-Go do something else for a while. Read a book, listen to some music,  go for a walk outside

It's an internet forum, and frankly I don't think it's the kind of thing people should be this emotionally invested in. Look at how up in arms people are getting over the serious RP - something that was supposed to be fun - like, just take a step and see that nothing but endless bickering has come from it. Something has clearly gone horribly wrong there.

Honestly I'm sick of it too: any semblence of meaningful or fun discussion is just drowned out in a wave of dissent and misery. I mostly just stop by to make sure the place isn't completely imploding nowadays.
