"both of them" ?
XCOM can be a harsh mistress. You can miss a 90% shot and then get bitch slapped for 9 HP and then suddenly have the squad devolve into chaos.
Xenonauts is cruel. You can miss every shot in a long 40% full auto burst, then your squad can eat 3 grenades in a turn because the terrain bottlenecked you.
An SCP game in the vein of either would be insane. You can make one wrong move on a recovery op and a keter will kill your entire squad without breaking a sweat. Since many keters tend to be bulletproof.

I would totally play that.
I'd play it for the base building and management.
"If I cut the detail on 002 to 2 men I could put the free personnel on 076, which could be the difference between able staying contained or breaking containment...but 002 is a registered mindfuck and I need redundant security to ensure each other's mental integrity..."
Well after a damp staircase made an attempt on my life my previous plans to go hiking are dead and gone and I have a few hours to watch what terraria has wrought.

I HATE medusas. Even with full molten armor and a legendary night's edge they still can kick my butt.
I dunno if their range has increased in expert mode, but I've had them stone me from across the screen and they seem able to chain the debuff together so a single medusa can keep me paralyzed for a very long time.
Not to mention the 400 hp and double damage.

Might take a break for a day or two.
I actually saw a nightmare about Terraria last night.
This is my first nightmare since 2013.

Nope, but I remember seeing a post about it coming out at the end of July.

Good. It already works well in wine, but a native version is always nice.

oh god
Not as bad as MY experience. My first blood moon happeded when I was still only in Boreal Wood armor.
To make matters worse, I couldn't get blockades up in time several times, and this one Crimtane Bunny kept spawnkilling me.
I was able to get them up eventually, though, so the rest of it was easy enough.

i need the DPS meter and the weather radio. i'd be cool to have this before going into HM.
Sure would. I'm just hoping like crazy I find a merchant with the meter or something... I'm already doing quests like crazy, so I should have the Sextant, Weather Calendar, and Fishing Guide in no time.

no wonder you keep missing yuor shots/get yuorself in a very bad situation, burst fire is only useful for supression at medium range(55-65%) at deadly at close range(shorgun range/above 75%) anything below 50% you should just use aimed, it also cost less TU than burst so you might get a change at reflex fire.

Heavy auto weapons can only fire in bursts.
They are also the only weapons that can put out a "long" full auto burst.

if it's a heavy auto weapon you should have a chance 10x40% shots at least deal 3-4 hits enough to kill if not put them in suppressed

That's exactly what I was referring to. Sometimes all those shots miss because RNG.

mised shots will supress an enemy if it hits the tiles/walls nearthem which reduces their TUs making them moves less that turn
