What version of Minecraft is this, again?
1.7.10, if I recall correctly, also launched through ATLauncher, you guys should also recommend what launcher we use, if I have an idea how to compile a modpack

Also after looking through most launchers, I have no idea how to create a modpack for any of them.....I think I'm going to use tbe normal technique of putting everything in a zip/rar folder then distribute them through dropbox link.......unless someone else have an idea how to create a modpack for most popular launchers.......we still dont have a list though

This is a Skyblock thing, right? I'd recommend Ex Nihilo and some kind of craft guide. Maybe something for mobility, too.

This is a Skyblock thing, right? I'd recommend Ex Nihilo and some kind of craft guide. Maybe something for mobility, too.
Nononono, the skyblock thing is tempory, we're looking mods for normal survival and adventure finding bosses and dungeons. Also weapons and vehicles too(like flan modern weapons mod and mc heli)

Ooh, have I got suggestions for you.
Mapwriter- a neat little minimap mod. Doesn't have a radar, but it's simple yet effective.
QuiverBow- adds ranged weapons and an exploding punch item that explore what it would be like if your character started making other weapons.
Battlegear- doesn't play well with things that change your character model most of the time, but adds dual wielding, shields, and some neat weapons.
Archimedes' Ships- you've probably heard of this. It's awesome.
Aether II- even if you don't know what this is, you still need it. I can't describe how cool it is.
Morph- unconfigurated, it's a little OP. This works with any other mod, which is great. Basically allows you to transform into any mob you've killed- even bosses, but I don't recommend that.
I think it's called More Dungeons or something- self-explanatory. Generation is lackluster, though.
Animal Bikes- just fun in a nutshell. Ride dragons and squids!
Well, there's my two cents. I like to use Tails and More Player Models, too, but that's just me.

Welp, so much for this server. I guess I'll just stick to singleplayer or hope in vain that someone makes a server I like that doesn't lag to death constantly and actually has an active playerbase.
I've said it before: I'm hosting skyfactory until someone compiles a custom modpack for us.
Ah, right. I could probably do that. Heck, I could easily do that.
I'd have to leave distribution up to you though.

I have a looong list of mods that would be great. I could probably build the modpack off of my current SP pack as a base.

Good. 1.7.10 is best. We don't have to use a launcher. I'd reccommend against it, even, because as I recall with a server I played on, the whole process was complicated and annoying and they decided to just distribute the pack on their own.

Resize? The first thing that comes to mind is Metaworlds but the install is weird, it's buggy as hell, and I don't think it ever updated to 1.7.10.
I'd reccommend Ships, a simply-named mod but it's the best of both A.Ships and Metaworlds, and more features are coming at some point, like airships, which would be awesome.
So really the more we talk about the server, the more I want a thread for it alone.

While I agree TiCon is fantastic, and I love to use it myself, unfortunately it does make a lot of other mods' tech trees redundant.

We can edit some of the configs to make it more balanced without making it more grindy, mind you.

how? i guess it makes pulverizing things useless, but i can't think of any other mods it does that to.

The tools do many powerful things that are usually late-game in other mods, like the hammer's 3x3, auto-smelting, auto-repair, etc.
