Are the entrances wood platforms?
If so, you need to replace them with trapdoors (new 1x2 horizontal doors) it seems.

I would like to nominate myself and the entire crew of the ISA Anemoi for decoration for our heroic delaying action by drawing fire from the HSS Elephenor and Daring, thus allowing the ISA Terra and Eunostos to consolidate and weaken the enemy escorts, leaving their carrier open to a decisive thrust once the Anemoi overpowered the Daring and Elephenor.
Also give the crew of the Beroe something, they got blown up.

I assume this is what happened, I remember two destroyers chasing my flagship, my own destroyers being in really tight formation, and the enemy frigates going down easy and beyond that it's a dakka filled haze.

Another spot of good news: I got a job.

The latest patch disables multicore lighting. It was causing issues.

Also I found the problem with my houses - they had Living Leaf Walls. Apparently those don't count as walls.
Grumble grumble grumble.
