the reports weren't for either of those two.

Reports are private for a reason, I'm not going to say any more than I have.

As long as none is targeting me... I feel like I might have done something I shouldn't.

No acknowledgement of the postponing having ended has shown up RP-thread wise, so I'm figuring we are either waiting for several people or no-one wants to be in the Nexus RP anymore. Perhaps both.
This is what a reboot would mean:
- We start from a beginning, an area for lots of characters to easily latch into the story. It would still be in a war, but it would be a lull in fighting to allow for characters to appear and meet up.
- Major reworkings of plot points, especially when such plot points wrote everyone into an increasingly small corner. Such reworkings would be the Republic being the designated evil rather than insanely evil, and the Republic no longer using zerg rush tactics with humans.
- All plot holes would be fixed because they would no longer exist. I don't remember how cloning was ever supposed to be overpowered and not at the same time anyways.
- A re-arrangement of some of the plot line, to move some fairly isolated plot points I liked to before the RP start so they no longer require the users to RP them into existence again. Case in point: the Paladins.
- Any of my characters would no longer start out in a position when they can take/build half an armory for their own purposes.
- Removal of some plot points that just did not work out. Gender change would be no longer possible through pseudo-magic, as an example.
Hello? Any of you? Talking about the RP that everyone loved while it was alive?
You were away too long, I think it died

I'm banned from it.
If Ehks is willing to let go of rigging the Nexus RP as our last connection to CF Forums, it can be moved here.

Well unless that works out I have nothing to add to this.

well, if nobody else will pick up.
maybe let the player group start as a mercenary company with someone as the leader and from there you cna have everything from the friendly medic to the semi-psychotic gun-nut.
possibly (possibly) have it all be on a much, much, MUCH smaller scale. maybe it's about some colony world where one faction invades another, and said merc company is suddenly forced to pick sides.just a few ideas. use them or not, you guy's choice.
i've got a few other ideas that can/could/might support such a setting and allow for some more "play" in roleplay and possibly for a bit more variation in characters.
though personally i think we should rework some of the fundamental bits of the world. i might rant/talk more about it later, i have to eat now, discuss a bit while i'm gone.

I still like my idea of the players being a group of treasure hunters and then kick the story off with them stealing something from the Republic since the Republic managed to beat them to it.

If you want an RP where all characters are working toward a reasonable, single goal with only little real-life time, go play D&D or Pathfinder. The reboot is a change in the story, not the spirit.
