Because this frankly doesn't warrant such an overblown reaction and most people don't care because it has minimal impact on their daily lives? If you disagree with the way a company is going then stop doing business with them.

I like how every single Youtube video about overpopulation, etc. has people in the comments suggesting the mass slaughter of babies and children and the nuking of America.
