it's much better to bring in new sources of revenue than squeeze it out of the people who will (gradually) leave since there's no good new content. really hope they release the 11 missions soon.
There's so much stuff they could do but I'm pretty sure it's dead at this point.
They're testing/releasing a mobile game called Rise of Knights which is pretty much just a knock off of Final Fantasy: All The Bravest but with the SK characters.
All they're really doing at this point is just fixing minor bugs and will then cut the servers down once it stops being profitable.
I managed a 0 death terror mission (civilian death) with this squad thanks to being able to play extremely eaggressively. And no SHIV losses either. Infinite flanking and auto-repair oho! Plus suppressive fire and average 9-13 damage attacks. (topping at 22 damage) Nothing stands in their way. Not even sectopods oddly. I did this to experiment one game. Works better than you would think. Can even run your entire game as an "Operator" once you get your tech to that point. if only it didn't take so long to get there. hover shivs moving 24 spaces per turn while flying. Pfffff.

If you have Enemy Within and dont find it hard enough, grab X-COM Long War. It's a free mod on the Nexus that almost triples the content of both the base game, and the DLC. Also, Aim is far less forgiving (In that it can be a bitch to hit anything at time), new weapons and armor, new classes, new everything, pretty much. Oh yeah, and a fuckton of starting areas.
Also, hi.

I don't think I need the game any harder for now.
Oh, ok. Just a word of advice, though. Mobility is everything in Long War. Always have a strike team with high Movement stats (We're talking 15+ tiles here). Check out the wiki for Long War. Also, once X-COM 2 goes on sale, I am definitely grabbing it.

2:30 AM Ideas 11.5 hours early edition
Fallout New Vegas Mod: "Enchantment" like in the Elder Scrolls games in a mostly lore-friendly way.
-Mechanical Exoskeletons! Equippable items that can be upgraded and altered to provide different effects like S.P.E.C.I.A.L. boosts, carry weight, health, or AP increases, damage boosts to specific weapon types, skill enhancement, and maybe even active abilities like slowing time temporarily for an AP cost.
-Show up partially on your character unless you wear full-body covering armors on top.
-Potentially need energy cells to function and give the effects; when out of power they decrease your agility and strength (because you're basically moving around with glorified weights attached to your entire body)

You use them to make sprite food at the red alchemy machine in Haven.

welp.
It's not surprising really - games die. SK is what? 4, 5 years old at this point.
