Not as bad as MY experience. My first blood moon happeded when I was still only in Boreal Wood armor.
To make matters worse, I couldn't get blockades up in time several times, and this one Crimtane Bunny kept spawnkilling me.
I was able to get them up eventually, though, so the rest of it was easy enough.
but two blood moons, in a row and jesus christ, there are some new and weirder enemies(I skipped 1,.2)

No, we'll be fine. My brother was able to solo him with post-Golem gear without dying once.
Then again, that was before the update...
And besides, if Yri can do it (as experienced as he is), so can we.
It'd be a lot more fun with multiple people, though. Except then we'd have to figure out how to divvy up the loot...

besides, i can't remember if it was in expert or in normal as well, but bosses health scale with the number of players. and depending on how it scales, being 3-5 people together against it could prove detrimental.

That fight was on Normal. Displays it in the title and thumbnail.
Even on Normal, though, it's a challenging fight. You know, being the final boss and all.

do it in expert that way each person gets a treasure bag, anyways i've killed the moon lord once, i had to use the cheap go to the nurse to heal method though.

You do realize that in Expert, bosses get an extra, like, 1,000 health for every player.
Not only that, but they get even harder. have you seen the expert Plantera fight? PLANT TENTACLES EVERYWHERE.

Have you seen the wall of Flesh fight? You can't get hit once. You need speed boots and movement-speed increasing stuff (or bunny mount) in order to not get eaten by it speeding up to insane speeds.
Anyways, I am now in Hardmode on Expert. going through a pirate invasion on the second or third day is fuckhard. hate the damn deadeyes and crossbow pirates, they are the ones that always killed me.

Doesn't WoF go through walls? Or is it one of the few bosses that don't? There's just a gigantic line of platforms in Hell for when we fought it...and we'll have to fight it again so i can get a mage emblem instead of a fucking summoner one.
seriously i got a summoner emblem, and the actual summoner got it too. melee guy got melee, and then the ranger got another melee.
