Quote:HERE GOES TITLE: WITTY SUBTITLE

Small blurb to briefly introduce the universe and what is going to happen. This is meant to entice new players to join and is worded to create excitement. I might as well write this.

PLEA FOR NEW PLAYERS TO HAVE CHARACTERS EVALUATED
Character sheet here
People who can evaluate
PLEA FOR PRE-REBOOT CHARACTERS TO BE RE-EVALUATED, REMOVE THIS AFTER THERE ARE NONE LEFT

Spoiler goes here, containing just a better overview of the universe than the blurb. It should not be too long.
Spoiler goes here, containing a list of major and minor factions plus some groups and things that do not count as either, like Freespace. It has a brief overview of the faction, what they believe in, what they are doing, and notable standings with other factions.
Spoiler goes here, containing some guidelines and rules of thumb.

Here goes a line explaining that deeper lore can be requested for reading and questioning.

This is an area to be updated regularly, being a brief explanation of where the RP is now (in general, so it does not need nightly updates) so returning players can catch up and new players can get in quicker.

How does everyone think of this template?

Sounds good.
However it should be noted that the Drive is accessible to anyone, even without an account, except they just can't make documents, so it would still be a good place to let people keep character information and the universe info for those who do want to use it.
That said, the OP idea is very good.

Okay, thoughts down on paper. Now who wants to see Ippy being a derpy fuckwit with terrible ideas?

Yeah, xenophobia is not what the Republic needs, especially if I want to get rid of the whole "everyone else is good and trying to kick their ass".

Yeah, I knew that was bad. Oh well, might as well have gotten it over and done with. Off to the bin with ye!

Quick Edit - Wait, we're still keeping everyone else in White morality territory?
Where's Ryuujin? Did we finally manage to scare him away?

No no. It's gonna be grey and gray, maybe with a bit of beige plaid.
Oh also your notes are unreadable. You can't have certain symbols in a spoiler title or it won't be able to open.

Could someone summarise the last 40 pages or so that I missed playing Terraria?

I wasn't kidding about binning the file.

Okay, so it's not just me getting that error. I was wondering what was causing that.

Anyway, that's why I stuck with the Xenophobic aspect - it's black, but it becomes grey when you give them a reason to do so (for those who missed it, in shorthand it was due to the perception that most Alien races had it out for Humanity).

Edit - Fixed, notes should open now to read.

Quite a bit happened, I think. Might be better to just read the backlog.

what exactly am i looking at?
I really want to know, why is it that every i voice my opinion you all write it off as "complaining" and never consider it.

I'm just going back to bed and not leaving it.

two points.
1, are you sure that's what people are doing? not something you're imagining?
2, wording. wording wording wording. i saw it a bit yesterday when you wanted to the RP discussion moved, the way you worded it made it seem like you were begging and pleading for it, which can also sound like complaining in many cases. a different word choice might have meant people saw your request as a request and not so much as an... i dunno, an unjust order? (if my writing is extra colorful right now it's because i just got done catching up on Extra History)

Well I suppose someone should answer this.

Your opinion (as you call it) is often passive-aggressive at best or outright angry, caustic and volatile at worst and generally gives off an emotional bias. You frequently kick up a fuss over trivial or non-issues, insisting that they are an urgent matter that needs to be dealt with immediately while simultaneously offering no evidence or argument which corroborates these claims. Continuously asserting something is a problem does not mean it's an actual problem.

The tone of your posts often comes off as being more directed at the users behind the purportedly offending posts rather than the posts themselves.  This mostly stems from the fact that there are a few recurring issues which you bring up with little to no prompting and often respond to in a completely over-the-top and unwarranted manner - case in point: homestuck related postings.

All of the above generally gives off the impression that:
-you are arguing for the sake of it
-you take issue with the users posting the content and not the content itself, under the guise of bringing attention to some "problem"
-you are directing anger/frustration from some external source at us

or some combination of the above. The nature of the things you complain about as well as the manner in which you bring it up makes me inclined to think that you take personal issue with these matters as opposed to genuinely believing there is some larger problem, and that it is simply a way of airing your grievances without explicitly addressing the people in question.

I'm not good with social nuances such as proper wording and interpreting subtle signals.

In other words, google "define aspergers"
