Too late for that mate. We passed the point of no return. One will live and one will die, who knows, the other may die without the first.

Too late for that my man. We passed the point of no return.
There's not really any way that I can see how you could fuse the two into one without at least 1/3 of the people being pissed. Wait... I know. We need moar emoticons!
or we could get some new people

That's really our only chance, new long term users.

Srsly? How would that work? Last I saw, there were no links on the CF Forums, which is where most people who use the Avali mod are. The only way I found the Nexus is from searching Google. I guess I could post a link on CF, but I dont know how many people would see it.

It's what we have to do, not how we can do it.
I know people. And ways to spread info. I could do that at the cost of what little self respect I have I guess.
Or we could give free donuts to people who walk into the door.
...Note to self: no donuts for me or Marx

Somebody get Shia LaBouef.
In all seriousness, I'll definitely do what I can, but I seriously doubt people would see what I put out.
Idea. Ideaideaideaideaideaideatime. So I know I already put up a poll for a server, but what if the Nexus was the only place for the time being where you could use the Avali on a server? That'd be a huge incentive. Send them the ip and stuff once they sign up. And even if it was spread, technichally they would still be participating in the community by being on the server.
I'm...not at all comfortable inviting anyone I know to the nexus, not sure they'd be all that good an addition to the community.

Like I said, I could post a few links to boards on CF, and I know a few people who might like the mod who are all relatively nice people, but I know around 5 people like that, so I cant do much.
I want to post a soundclip of the GLA worker saying:
"Cannot we live in peace?"

Peace is not the natural state of man, but rather war. To be peaceful would be inhuman, and to also relinquish our positions of power, wealth, and fame, to share that among the people. Basically, because around 95% of humanity are greedy, lazy bastards, we shall never know true peace.

Conflict is human nature. Ever since Og realized Herg had more food and took it by force we've wanted to be better, to have more, than the next person over.
Still waiting on a gag order from the mods.

Why? You don't seem to be doing anything bad.

This line of discussion is very explicitly stating that the forum nexus and Skype nexus are two very different and incompatible groups, which is a sensitive subject for the mods since they are all part of both.

That's their job. I really dont think it would be an issue saying that a forum on the 'Net is different from a live IRC in a program, because it's a fact. And on top of that, the two Nexus's obviously dont have the same group of people talking about the same things simultaneously all the time.

Well I'll confess that I'm certainly part of the problem here as my trademark ineffective articulation and stubborn aggression when I tried to argue that having 2 nexuses was bad for the community as a whole got me called disgustingly selfish and delusional for thinking people shouldn't be allowed to choose their own communication platform and that whole debacle is almost certainly why the sentiment that the two groups are wholly different and why having both instead of one or the other will ultimately be the downfall of the nexus can evoke such a negative response.

That's not called selfish, it's called logic. And whoever said that you were selfish obviously doesnt know what happens when a group splits and blocks two-way communication. It's even worse that people need to essentially go through a ''check'' to get the Skype info. It should be on the front page. You dont need to do anything other than make an account and log on here, why the extra hassle for Skype?
