so... i just killed to golem with extreme ease, with the same gear i took down plantera with.
i've said it numerous times, and i'll say it until they nerf the everloving fuck out of it, Seedler is overpowered as all hell.

I just got into Hardmode and almost immediately was greeted by a pirate invasion.
Couldn't even beat the Dutchman.
And better yet, there's a Crimson biome in my Jungle... So I might not have a jungle anymore in a matter of days.

step 1: go to jungle and find/make a big lake.
step 2: get your best fishing gear, make fishing potions and sonar potions. (potions optional)
step 3: fish until you get a Seedler.
step 4: reforge Seedler to Legendary.
step 5: equip a warrior emblem and get some HM-ore armor of the melee-varity.
step 6: kick everything's ass. everything.
i mean every last thing the game has to offer can be beaten by a weapon you can fish up from some damn lake.

claphorite stops crimson/hallow spread, however you're surface won't be protected, unless you find a way to protect it.

make a little "house" (not housing) like a a barrier around the edge of the lake, large enough for it to not obstruct the lake, allow you to fish and to keep the baddies out, but also small enough as to not have enemies spawn inside.

Reforging to Legendary is for pussies.
Ruthless gives you more damage, at the cost of knockback, but if you're a melee user you don't want that silly knockback anyway because you're not a COWARD.
You face your enemies PERSONALLY.

I still need to do something about the Crimson spread in my Jungle, though... Doesn't help that the diagonal crimson strip that generates went toward that side, either.

Y'know I'm kind of sad the new Throwing class is so unloved at the moment.
Two armor types from what I can tell, both early pre-hardmode, no dedicated accessories or emblems even though summoners got their own now, and little variation in weapon styles unlike all the other classes. Hopefully they'll get some more love in the next few updates (remember just because Redigit is leaving doesn't mean the game will stop updating entirely.)
