To be honest I have had so many people ask me permission if they could pay for my way in.... i am not sure who is gonna do it.... but already i feel deeply humbled and honestly... not sure who is gonna do it for me.... i have updated my thingy on that doc though .... at least 2 people have offered already... Maiq and Rune

I had people practically demand permission to pay for me to be in the group image. Was all around weird, I got the most unconvincing "well you're an important member of the community..." I've ever heard and then had to spend 10-20 minutes arguing that I do not want to be in it.

As much as you hate the idea that your important to the community .... you ... kinda are... your a long standing member... and besides... where would we get our snark from... even if your in the shadows plotting something or trying to call out bullshit that others overlook... you tend to be here as a main member... i am not surprised people offered to pay for your way in... but then again its up to you weither you wish to be in it or not... i just kinda feel the nexus would not be the same without you... for better or for worse honestly... i have no idea... you bring up good points sometimes... though... you are kinda blunt about it i always feel people are entitled to their opinion... and you more than anyone is willing to express them!

I could probably be killed in a car accident and the disruption in my usually daily presence would no doubt go unnoticed for nearly a month. Then the only thing I contribute is paranoid and overprotective opinions that everyone hates, so if I was killed I'm certain at least one or two people would consider the forum better off without my shouting. I know from experience that being a senior user doesn't entitle me to anything unless somebody wanted to give it to me anyways, how long I've been here adds no weight to my words or opinions, and affords me no advantage in how I am viewed by everyone else, at best somebody might point out my seniority if it becomes relevant like some special piece of furniture or decoration that you like to show off to guests.

My role as resident "problem user" aside, the biggest factor in my decision is probably the facts that A: the odds of me being satisfied with the final product are close to nil, and B: I pose a risk of incurring additional costs for complexity due to Surge's armor.

To be honest Surge i do understand where you are coming from with the opinion that your a "problem user" to some... however there are times where i really side with you in cases!... you have brought up great points and some of your stances i share.... i just don't have the courage to stand on a soap box and yell out what i feel is something horrible and should be looked into. Sure some of your complains are kinda.... out of left field... but without someone being a cynic we would not have a slowly bettering community. for that regard.. i feel you belong.... even if others are annoyed by your actions.

as for the image... i am the same way.. i feel worried that my character would not be represented right... i have been debating whether or not to go with my characters dragon form (which i have so little references to the actual look i want to express and my drawring skills are so atrocious that i need to get someone to try and drawr it up sometime for me... but i feel i would be rather grating on them if they tried to get what i envision.) or my avali form...

as for additional costs... i thought the slots were a flat rate.... if you think of how much the artist will be getting i feel somehow they would not mind the complexity.. but you bring up valid complaints... when you have your mind set on the look you want for your persona you... kinda lock to it.... so i won't force you do accept being added... just voicing my opinion.
