now I'm pretty sure we've seen birds with bowl cuts(gloster canary) but i question, what purpose it does have on the bird I mean it doesnt move like a cockatoo's crest to attract mate or look more intimidating and it even cover the bird's eye potentially hinder vision, and it doesnt look very aerodynamic either....
