"What." I hear you say.
Well it's possibly true. And if it is, I don't know what to make of it.
The game's 5 years old, yes, but still, with all the mods there are, it really doesn't need a remaster.
Sure, it could get the updated Fallout 4 Engine with stuff like cloth physics and... I dunno, sun rays or something, but all the mods would need to be moved over...
And it wouldn't run as well... And we already have a free HD Texture DLC for normal Skyrim...
Basically: Is this really nessessary? They could be working on TES6 darnit.
Please actually be working on TES6 instead. Skyrim does not have such outdated graphics that it needs a remaster.
>updated engine
>fallout 4
Pick one.
The thing is that Skyrim is still far more relevant than it has any right to be in the PC crowd so a remaster would get it taking in console money again with basically 0 effort. They'll probably use it as an excuse to expand the console mod ecosystem they've apparently been building too.
Fallout 4's engine is an upgraded version of the Creation Engine, thereby technically making it better than Skyrim's early version of the Creation Engine.
...yeah, it is. still gambryo. i mean, if bethesda decides to make an skyrim using an actually new engine, that'd be pretty great. it'd give the engine some testing ground before being put into a fully new game.
People always say it's still Gambryo, but that's probably like comparing Unreal 2 to Unreal 4 or something. Built off the same structure, but not the same.
Oblivion to F3/FNV had quite some changes. That to Skyrim had enough to completely rename the engine, but it was an early, unfinished version of the engine. Fallout 4 is the proper Creation Engine, technically.
I do agree they need a new engine though. The ones built off Gambryo are limiting and buggy.

the unreal engines are actually completely different though, whereas bethesda is literally using the same 10+ year old code and tacking o more and more features to it

Say hello to CoD. Up until Ghosts, the entire engine was just the last game with another layer of tweaks, all the way to the modified Quake II engine from the original.
And even then all they really did in Ghosts was to try and add space physics... for one level.
CoD has always been a "set-piece" shooter where the setting of each firefight is intended to be memorable. So there really wasn't a while lot of technological demand to make such rigidly crafted scenes.
They say Overwatch is a lot better with friends.

honestly mechs isnt the most viable combat platform,
Mechs are quite viable, the issue with low profile vs high profile is one of defense vs offense. a taller vehicle, especially to the degree of a battlemech against a tank, has a more commanding field of fire but presents an easier target, while the shorter vehicle is more easily confounded by obstacles as it attacks but is also harder to target. Mechs also have the added benefit of being less susceptible to HEAT munitions that intend to cause internal trauma after penetration, which can knock out a tank in one blow. Because of the highly decentralized nature of the mech's systems it can take penetrating hits and have large chunks of its innards ravaged and still remain functional.

I'm not sure mech tend to one one man crewed while tanks even modern ones have atleast 2-4 crew which prove to be the 'Squishy bits', more squishy bits easier to kill(that somewhat includes HE and propellants) but imagine unmanned tanks with just AP rounds and rail projectile propulsion instead of gunpowder charge, it would never get ammo racked and no squishy parts also could be more heavily armored/small

a) why would you post this
b) why would you do this
c) why were you looking to make sure no one was doing anything "sickening"
I was bored man...

finally, custom teleport in/out for each race, now the avali wary will keep the tail and maybe mechanians will have drop pods instead
Nope. I asked about this, and it turns out it's just a color swap. You can't change the sprite per race, only the color.

I'll be honest, some girls can really pull off being curvy and some being really skinny.
But that's the exception not the rule.

Also of everyone I looked up, Surge has the most accounts, all of them are devoid of info. The guy is like army level straitlaced.
Also I'm only saying this because I snooped on a lot of people and was really guilty about it.
Also learned something very important.
NO TOUCHY THE UMBY!
I dunno why you'd admit to doxxing people.
I doubt you'd find anything much linking me to my actual personage, but there's some links around surely - mostly due to apathy rather than carelessness.

What's doxxing?
Is this not something everyone does?
Did I do a bad thing?
O.o

Also in reality I only really looked into two.
I'll say that one seems to be addicted to commissioning art.
