Ehks is what is known as "popufur" where people just go out of their way to make things for her in exchange for nothing at all.

Or maybe she just asks? :v

She's asked me a few times for sketches.

This time I just drew one cause the inspiration struck.

We've been limping it along for a while by stringing together short stories, but a lot of people are busy this weekend because it is Memorial Day in America and a good many people are forced to be social away from the internet.

I've been thinking about introducing a villian myself just to kick the beehive a little, but it would mean a fair amount of reworking to one of my demon girl arrangements to make it fit properly. Pretty much someone Danu knows and doesn't get along with, that will cause problems for her and anyone near her.

Sorry, I got addicted to Salt & Sanctuary and it's claimed my soul salt.
I still have plot in mind; I just need to kick it back in motion.

Take your time. I got myself totally hooked on Factorio, and for the past week I haven't wanted or cared about anything else. The new software spell is wearing off some though, I'm finally letting myself get distracted from it again.
I got a sketch pad and draft pencils and lunch is coming soon.

What draw?!
On the subject of things nobody will ever agree with me on. I'm starting to think more and more that the average gamer is really stupid. When Far Harbor came out for FO4 the subreddit was praising Bethesda for "listening to fans" and adding a whole 2 skill checks to the DLC, bringing the entire game up to 5, what a dramatic improvement. Now some guy on the Stellaris subreddit is saying it's the best game he's played this year because he saved a primitive species only to have them nuke themselves a few years later. For the sake of my faith in humanity I'm telling myself he has much better and deeper reasons for loving the game and just hasn't articulated them. I'm no stranger to the emotional RNG rollercoaster but it's not a major point on the "is this game good or bad?" list because it can go either way and make a good game better or a bad game worse.

Basically I'm sick of seeing people on Reddit praising inconsequential details as if they have any bearing at all on the quality of the game.

Or maybe he loved the depth and complexity of the game and wanted to express it with one of his more interesting experiences.

Your self-centered pessimism is not appreciated. Just because nobody comments on it does not meant it's the absolute bottom of the barrel. It may be that we are more than avatars, meaning many of us have real lives to cater to.

Or that some people aren't artsy and don't really get into picture art.  Anything I could say would probably sound insulting whether it was compliment or not.  So I said nothing.  Not interested in conflict.
This is the best description of Steins;Gate I've ever seen:

"Pretend Mad Scientist accidentally sciences a microwave time machine. He and friends proceed to muck around with it until the evil organisation that is CERN (you know, the LHC guys) turn up to fuck shit up.
10/10. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll rewatch it 5 more times. Best show ever. Fight me."

Edit: He gave Code Geass a 5/10... How can one give Code Geass a 5/10.
Edit 2: Darnit I told myself I would stop clicking anime lists on Imgur. Now I've added like 4-5 more to my list. I already have a backlog I need to watch, darnit!

I must be really bad at telling jokes...

I can only get better though!

If you don't like it try a different style of drawing.
This was a drawing of mine I made a couple months ago that I never got around to posting. This is far from my norm as I never draw creatures, I almost always draw plants or inanimate objects.

Oh and this is something I just made yesterday from planetside 2.

Plenty of people don't like Code Geass. I frequently see it cited as being overrated, and a lot of people being turned off by the heavy amount of 'asspulls' in the plot (I assume 'ex machina' type plot devices that were never mentioned until that point) as well as the tone of the show being generally schizophrenic and all over the place.

Also sometimes a bit about it being an allegory for Japanese history during the world wars.

Huh. The tail is too small and the wing feathers are slightly too long (also, frankly, the bow is really crap.) but the rest of the body is almost perfectly in proportion.

To carry off of what Rogue tactfully said

The tail could be scaled up a bit as it's a counterbalance.

As for the feathers, the length of those at the end of the wing is fine... except they don't hang in that sense. Like birds, the feathers splay all the way out from the limb, and on Avali the feathers closer to the body are shorter.

Otherwise, the proportions are good.

As for Rahizel, try drawing a grid or using graph paper instead. It helps you see how to proportion things, and how to keep things level. Also, it really helps to sketch basic shapes first. Yeah, an avali would look silly with a circle head, oval body, triangle skirt connected to a diamond tail and so forth, but if it's proportionate and you get the hang of that, the finer details can come later.

Just practice more. Your first arts aren't going to be stellar, and letting others beat you down isn't healthy. Try and keep your old drawings around, too. I go back and look at my old ones from time to time and see just how much I've improved, and it's a massive confidence booster. Just keep at it, you'll get it in time~

Sorry. I'm usually a tad more tactful, but when someone asks for honest feed back, compassion gets defenestrated like anyone trying to pet the Surge.
Though to be fair, Rahizel's tail looks quite good.
